Common Skin Conditions

Skin Tags

Skin tags are small polyps of skin that appear mainly around the neck, underarms, and body folds. They are noncancerous and noncontagious, but can be cosmetically undesirable. They are painless but become irritated if clothing or jewelry rubs on them.

Dr. Davis can remove skin tags by:

  • Burning them off.
  • Using gentle excision, with or without local anesthetic.
